THE HOUSE AND ITS GARDENS

The statue-surmounted gates give access to secure open parking.

The house stands on a large property and set far back in its spacious gardens. Two private garages and a large courtyard provide secure parking for guests and their visitors. Islands of further gardens flank other areas. High walls provide privacy and buffer the already-minimal street noise. Tranquility is the order of the day.

These two life-size Mahogany busts which surmount the pillars flanking the entrance gate (above) and are magnificent examples of West-African art. We offer tours to various arts and crafts markets and galleries.

Garden areas abound throughout - every patio has access

Each suite is in a garden setting with easy access to the jacuzzi and barbecue ("braai") areas.

Private patios give easy access to delightful gardens

The flexibility and versatility of Ma'khaya's design is perfect for "chilling out" or entertaining

The patios are spacious enough for convivial entertaining

The interior is warmly inviting, with objects d'art drawn  from all over Africa and especially the magnificent carvings and wooden sculpture of West African countries. Click on the thumbnail pictures below for larger views:
